Donald Trump breaks a 150 years record of American history as a President

Washington DC: US President Wednesday left the White House for the lasttime in his term as he will not attend his successor Joe-Biden’s oathtaking ceremony, becoming the first president in more than 150 years torefuse to attend the event.

Trump, who 45th president of the US, also addressed a small gathering at abrief farewell ceremony held at Joint Base Andrew before flying to Floridafrom Washington. He was also accompanied by his wife Melania Trump.

Trump said, “We accomplished so much together. I want to thank all of myfamily and my friends and my staff and so many other people for being here.”

He also wished theBiden administration “ great success”, saying thinkthey’ll have great success they have the foundation to do something reallyspectacular and we put it in a position like it’s never been before.”

“I will always fight for you. I will be watching. I will be listening,” hesaid. “We love you,” Trump said. “We will be back in some form.”

Besides listing his achievements in his final speech, Trump also discussedabout the coronavirus pandemic.

“We did something that is a medical miracle and that is the vaccine,” hesaid.

Trump once again called the COVID-19 the “China virus” besides paying greatlove to families who suffered due to the pandemic.
