ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has established a CyberVigilance Division to handle complaints against unlawful online contentunder Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act.
The authority has also developed a Standard Operating Procedure for lodgingcomplaints and their disposals.
According to the latest report of PTA, the Authority has developed closeliaison with social media platforms to honour requests made for removal ofobjectionable content.
