RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met withthe Commander of US CENTCOMM in GHQ today.
COAS said that peace in Afghanistan is vital for regional peace, said anInter-Services Public Relations press statement.
The army’s media wing said a US delegation, led by Commander US CENTCOMGeneral Joseph L Votel, called on the army chief today.
During the meeting, geo-strategic environment, regional security andAfghanistan peace and reconciliation process were discussed.
