ISLAMABAD - Advisor to Prime Minister on Climate Change, Malik Amin Aslam has said the government is planning to extend ban on use of plastic bags to other cities of the country.
He was addressing concluding session of a two-day consultation on Sanitation Market Shaping to review the recommendations of the recently conducted Sanitation Market Assessment study in South Asia.
The Advisor said we have been looking at sanitation issue from a lens of crisis but the correct lens is of opportunity.
He said waste management should be treated as a business model instead of a crisis.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Wazir said engagement with private sector is vital for the success of Clean Green Pakistan Movement.
She said Clean Green Pakistan movement is serving as a pre-cursor to the upcoming demand for sanitation.
