Overseas Pakistanis Foundation launch a unique initiative

ISLAMABAD - Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) is all set to launch a web portal ‘Naya Pakistan Calling’ to hire the services of highly qualified Pakistani professionals working abroad by the end of this month.
The OPF spokesperson Arshad Ali told APP that the launching of portal was a part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s first 100 day reforms initiative plan.
He said the department had running this portal as a pilot project on its official site and as many as 15 expatriates had been registered so far.
“We are ready to engage those overseas professionals who could share their expertise in their relevant field online. Besides, this portal will also help connect the department with those who are willing to come Pakistan for serving the country in light of their experience,” Arshad added.
The experience of such expatriates would play significant role in the betterment of country, the spokesperson said.
He explained that the willing expatriates had to add their qualification, area of interest and experience after registering themselves on the department’s official site. The OPF after verifying their particulars recommend the aspirants to relevant department, considering their abilities, knowledge and experience, the spokesperson added. - APP
