Bio-Technology institute approved for BZU

MULTAN: (APP) The Ministry of Planning, Development and Reforms approved Rs 530 million for Bio Technology Institute of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU).

The amount has been sanctioned on the detailed proposal of Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University, Dr Tahir Amin.

Federal Minister of Planning, Development and Reforms, Ahsan  Iqbal, agreeing to the proposal, approved Rs 530 million for the institute.

BZU VC, Dr Tahir Amin, has instructed Director Bio Technology Institute, Dr Babar to send the amended PC-I of the project to HEC in the light of the minutes of Central Development Working Party (CDWP) meeting held on August 4.

The minutes of the meeting have reached the varsity, said a press release of BZU issued here on Monday.
