Pakistani Rupee rises significantly against US Dollar in interbank

After increasing for two days, the value of the American dollar compared to the Pakistani rupee has decreased again. According to currency dealers, at the start of business today, there was a decrease of One Rupee and 79 paise in the dollar's value in the interbank market, bringing the interbank rate to 278 rupees and 50 paise.

It's worth noting that the previous day, the dollar had reached 280.39 rupees in the interbank market with an increase of 3 rupees and 26 paise, while it had become 4 rupees more expensive in the open market.

It's clear that in Pakistan, the price of the American dollar had exceeded 307 rupees in the interbank market and 330 rupees in the open market. In the interbank market, the dollar has become overall 30 rupees and 30 paise cheaper in 5 weeks.

On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange has seen a rapid rise at the beginning of trading, with the Hundred Index gaining 105 points and reaching 49,537 points.
