Russia says it will respond to the U.S. actions after the end of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.
Talking to the reporters on the sidelines of the ministerial session of the Council of Europe in Helsinki, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said President Putin very clearly outlined our position and we will act symmetrically.
He also said Russia is not planning to withdraw from the Council of Europe as it remains committed to financial obligations.
