Deadly Terrorism bid foiled by LEA

RAWALPINDI: While foiling a bid of sabotage here at today in Rawalpindi, Law Enforcement Agencies have recovered 19,900 detonators and arrested two accused.


As per sources, Law Enforcement Agencies have been given intelligence information that huge quantity of explosive material was to be delivered in Islamabad or Peshawar from Peero Waduhai Bus Stand in Rawalpindi.


On the tip-off intelligence, LEA started to search each and every bus and vehicles that were going and coming from other cities here while LEA recovered huge quantity of explosive material including detonators when LEA searched a bus coming from Gilgit-Baltistan.


Accused Ahmad Ali and his accomplice have been arrested by LEA and shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation.


Sources said that the arrested accused wanted to deliver explosive material in Peshawar for sabotaging acts.
