Death anniversary of Saghar Siddiqui being observed today

The 45th death anniversary of renowned Urdu Ghazal poet Saghar Siddiqui is being observed on Friday.
His real name was Muhammad Akhtar. He was born in Ambala at 1928.
At the age of 19, he migrated to Pakistan in 1947 and settled in Lahore.
Saghar Siddiqui started poetry at very young age.
He continued to write poetry for the film industry and he also published a literary magazine.
Most of his poems have been lost and unpublished.
Saghar Siddiqui died at the age of forty-six on 19 July 1974.
