ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday adjourned hearing on a petition till tomorrow filed by Gulalai Ismael challenging his name on exit control list (ECL).
Justice Aamer Farooq of IHC conducted hearing on a petition filed by Gulalai Ismael seeking to remove his name from ECL.
The petitioner’s counsel Baber Sattar Advocate pleaded before the bench that his client was not a member of banned organization. He stated that government had not imposed ban on Pashtun Tahavuf Movement (PTM) so far.
Baber Sattar contended that if his client’s name was included in ECL due to being a member of PTM then other members’ names should have also be added in it.
The bench, however, adjourned the case till Tuesday due to shortage of time.
