PESHAWAR: (APP) Customs authorities have foiled another gold smuggling attempt from Dubai to Peshawar here at Bacha Khan International Airport.

The staff of Pakistan Customs reportedly recovered the 4.5 kilogram gold kept in the shoes and chocolates in the luggage of the accused.

The local value of the seized gold was stated to be Rs.20 million.

 

The accused Yousaf Rehman, resident of Peshawar was arrived from Abu Dubai through flight PA 611.

 

The accused has been taken into custody and further investigations were in progress.
