In India, strict lockdown has been imposed in capital New Delhi for six days starting tonight after the country's healthcare system reached the verge of collapse because of the worsening COVID-19 situation.
In a tweet, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said New Delhi is facing acute shortage of hospital beds, medical oxygen supplies and key medicines.
He also accused the Narendra Modi led BJP government in the Centre of sharply reducing Delhi's oxygen supply and diverting it to other states.
