ISLAMABAD: Top International magazine lists Pakistan as the top mosttourist destination in the World for 2020.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government’s efforts to promote tourismpromotion have started yielding results as Traveller by Condè Nast, one ofthe world’s best travel portals, has listed Pakistan as one of the toptourist destinations for 2020.
“The adventure traveller’s must-visit goes from strength to strength,” saidthe world’s leading travel magazine while highlighting Pakistan’s scenicand mesmerizing tourist attractions.
Outlining the adventure tourism potential in the country, the magazinewrote: “Pakistan has more peaks taller than 22,965ft than China and Nepalcombined, making it an almost magnetic spot for adventure travellers andintrepid hikers.”

“Visitors can follow in Michael Palin’s steps while traversing the 12,250ftShandur Pass, home to the world’s highest polo field, or meet with theKalash people of the Hindu Kush, famed for their cowrie-shell headdressesand brighter-than-bright embroidery,” it noted.
The magazine also mentioned the recent visit of Britain’s Duke and Duchessof Cambridge and the measures taken by the government including relaxedvisa restrictions.
