LAHORE – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrests top bureaucratfrom Lahore over corruption of Rs 1 billion, media reports have revealed.
on Tuesday arrested senior bureaucrat Waseem Ajmal in the Lahore WasteManagement Company (LWMC) embezzlement case.
According to the reports, the anti-graft watchdog body carried out a raidand detained the bureaucrat.
It was alleged that Waseem Ajmal was arrested in the corruption of morethan one billion rupees. It also said that he had given contract related towaste management illegally to Albayrak in 2014.

According to the NAB Lahore, the accused will be presented tomorrow in theaccountability court for physical remand. It was also alleged that heplayed an important role illegal appointment serving as the companysecretary.
