*ISLAMABAD – Pakistan cricket captain Sarfraz Ahmed has hit out against thePakistani team over dismayal performance in the first test against NewZealand.*
*He has slammed his side after a batting collapse led them to lose the Testmatch by four runs against New Zealand, on Monday in the first Test at AbuDhabi.*
“Obviously, it is disappointing. The start today wasn’t good, but the wayAzhar and Asad played, we should have finished it off. The collapse afterthat was very disappointing for the team,” Sarfraz said at the post-matchpresentation ceremony.
The skipper lauded opposition bowler Ajaz Patel, who picked five wicketsfor 59 runs allowing his side to grab the thrilling encounter. “Weobviously need to give credit to Ajaz here, he bowled superbly. The pitchhas changed and he bowled well,” said Sarfraz.
“Our batsmen should have handled it better, given ourselves a bit of time,but we just didn’t.”
