ISLAMABAD – New developments have been reported in the Islamabad High Court(IHC) regarding Pervaiz Musharraf treason case.
IHC on Monday sought travel details for the return of former presidentGeneral (r ) Pervez Musharraf to Pakistan in high treason case.
A two-member bench, comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice MohsinAkhtar Kayani heard a petition challenging constitution of a commission bya special court hearing the high treason case for recording statement ofMusharraf.
During the hearing, the court asked Musharraf’s lawyer Barrister SalmanSafdarto travel to Dubai and return with the former president, assuringthat the high security would be provided to Musharraf after his return toPakistan.

Barrister Salman said, “We have to get the orders from special court andthe special court is inactive currently.” However, the court ordered to theformer military general’s lawyer to present travel details and adjournedthe hearing till the third week of December.
