*KARACHI – Karachi police arrested on Monday three members of an Afghangang involved in robberies, extortion and other crimes from Karachi’s HaliRoad.*

They were receiving instructions from Afghanistan, said the East SSP duringa press conference. They used to threaten police officers as well.

Four other gang members managed to flee the scene. The police recoveredjewellery, a Kalashnikov, Rs300,000 and two pistols from their possession.
