After increasing for two days, the value of the American dollar compared tothe Pakistani rupee has decreased again. According to currency dealers, atthe start of business today, there was a decrease of One Rupee and 79 paisein the dollar’s value in the interbank market, bringing the interbank rateto 278 rupees and 50 paise.
It’s worth noting that the previous day, the dollar had reached 280.39rupees in the interbank market with an increase of 3 rupees and 26 paise,while it had become 4 rupees more expensive in the open market.
It’s clear that in Pakistan, the price of the American dollar had exceeded307 rupees in the interbank market and 330 rupees in the open market. Inthe interbank market, the dollar has become overall 30 rupees and 30 paisecheaper in 5 weeks.
On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange has seen a rapid rise at thebeginning of trading, with the Hundred Index gaining 105 points andreaching 49,537 points.
