ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan says Government is committed tocreate uniformity and harmony in dealing with the problems facing thecountry, especially in education.
Talking to a delegation of Ulema and scholars in Islamabad on Friday, hesaid the different systems and curricula in the field of education leads todivision and misunderstandings in different sections of society.
Imran Khan said there is a need for reform of the education system andcooperation of scholars is of utmost importance in this regard.
He said making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state on the pattern of state ofMadinah is his longstanding desire. The Prime Minister said he willcontinue to do everything he can to make the country an Islamic welfarestate.
Imran Khan said the government is introducing tax reforms to improve thecountry’s economy and Islamic Ideology Council and Ulema should give theirsuggestions in this regard in the light of Quraan and Sunnah.
