*ISLAMABAD: *Malaysian High Commissioner Ikram Muhammad Ibrahim has statedthat businessmen in his country are keen to explore investment avenues inPakistan.
He said this as he hosted a reception to celebrate Malaysia’s 62nd NationalDay. Federal Minister for Planning Khusro Bakhtiar was the chief guestwhile ambassadors of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)countries and members of the diplomatic corps attended the reception. Alarge number of Pakistanis including members of civil society and thebusiness community were also present on the occasion.
Bakhtiar said that Pakistan and Malaysia enjoy excellent relations. Headded that this relationship was growing with each passing day and hopedthat these ties will further be strengthened in the days to come. He alsohighlighted the role of various Malaysian companies in bringing bothcountries closer.
