LAHORE – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that theMartial Law was imposed in the country whenever Ulema launched a movement.
Addressing a press conference at Railways Headquarters on Saturday, he saidthat the cases would be decided promptly if democracy was derailed.
“Maulana Fazalur Rahman will not get the power even though all politicalbigwigs die,” he said. “About 600 people will be in jails if the martiallaw was imposed in the country. We will have to move cautiously.”
He said that problems will emerge by invading Islamabad. “The doors of thedialogues cannot be closed in democracy,” he added.
The minister said that the politics of the person giving directions to theJUI-F would also ruin. He claimed Maulana Fazalur Rahman will not come toIslamabad.
