NEW DELHI – Indian ruling BJP has accused the opposition Congress ofrunning campaign against PM Narendra Modi in Pakistan.
The BJP accused the Congress on Thursday of running a “paid campaign” onFacebook in Pakistan for removal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, callingit a serious matter.
Its spokesperson Sambit Patra flashed copies of a Facebook page which showsan advertisement of the opposition party calling for “Desh bachao, Modihatao” (Save country, remove Modi), with Pakistan being highlighted as thelocation.
“What does it mean? You are running a campaign in Pakistan against ourpopular prime minister in Pakistan,” he told reporters.
