Threat from Indian Navy: Pakistan Navy reviewed war plans in high profile military drills

KARACHI – Over the threat from Indian Navy, Pakistan Navy reviewed warplans in high profile military drills recently conducted successfully inKarachi and coastal areas.

Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi reviewed theoperational plan in the debrief session.

Naval Chief said that the present Indian leadership misadventure may leadto a conflict with Pakistan to divert world attention from Kashmir.

Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said during the debrief session of PakistanNavy’s war game SHAMSHEER-E-BAHR VII and Logistic Exercise TARSEEL-E-BAHARII. Chief Guest was received by Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff(Operations), Rear Admiral Faisal Rasul Lodhi who was also the OfficerConducting the Exercise (OCE).

While presenting the overview, the OCE outlined salient objectives of theexercise; concepts tried during the war game and recommendations pertainingto PN employment and developmental strategies.

Speaking at the occasion, Chief of the Naval Staff highlighted thesignificance of war games in reviewing naval war plans in sync withmilitary and national security policy while also exploring operationalconcepts and refining developmental strategy.

The Chief Guest mentioned that evolving geo-political environment in ourregion is marred with complexities especially due to recent illegalannexation of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) by Indian government and theintense oppression and atrocities by Indian Armed Forces in the valley.

Naval Chief expressed that environment is likely to continue posingchallenge to our national security in foreseeable future. “Pakistan Navy insync with government policies and other armed forces is ready in allrespects to give a befitting response to any misadventure by the enemy,” headded.
