ISLAMABAD – Pakistani Skipper Shoaib Malik makes history in T20 World,media report has revealed.

Shoaib Malik has become the first-ever Pakistani to feature in 350 T20matches. The veteran all-rounder marked the milestone with a stunningperformance during the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and leadinghis side to victory.

The skipper of Guyana Amazon Warriors, Malik scored 67 runs from just 37deliveries against Jamaica Tallawahs. His unbeaten innings included 6 foursand 3 sixes.

Speaking about the achievement, Malik said:

When I first started playing cricket, I never thought I would play 350games in total, never mind 350 in just one format. I feel honoured to havebeen a part of this beautiful game of cricket. When I started my career,T20 cricket didn’t exist, and it makes me proud that I was able to keep mygame relevant to the modern-day cricket.

In addition to that, Malik has also become the first overseas player toscore 1500 runs in CPL history. Overall, Malik is ranked fourth in the listof most runs scored in T20s.
