KARACHI – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has responded over the decision ofthe Islamabad High Court.

He has termed the verdict of the Islamabad High Court a relief for theSharif family.

Reacting to the IHC verdict on Wednesday, he said that the Sharif familywas going through difficult time after the death of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.

He said that no one could give opinion on the legal points of the verdict.

“There are phases of appeals against the IHC verdict. Rule of law andindependence of judiciary are mandatory for forwarding the democraticsystem,” he maintained.

The PPP chairman said that the PPP had been at the front during thestruggle for the independence of judiciary. “The PPP never insulted courtseven after verdicts against it,” he added.
