The Pakistani rupee shattered all previous records on Tuesday, falling to anew low of 224 against the dollar in afternoon interbank trade, as itapproached close. In open market US dollar hits Rs 225-226.
The local currency fell by Rs8.80 in the interbank market after yesterday’sclose of Rs215.20 *Tresmark* data showed.
The rupee was also trading in the open market at Rs224 against the dollartoday.
