Railway officials said that Pakistan-Iran rail service has been suspendedafter six train bogies derailed near Chaghilink to sinking and submerging of therailway track at a number of sites.
The freight train was heading to Quetta from Iranlink on Saturday, but the unbalancedcompartments of the Pak-Iran train servicelink derailed and now Railwaysofficials said that the Chaghi linkneeded repairs.[image: Loading video]
Earlier, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries CentralStanding Committee on Railways convener, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi, had demandedthe federal government to take practical steps for the restoration of goodstrains with Iran link and Turkey.
