KASHMORE – Pakistan People’s Party leader Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani issupposed to be elected as the first unopposed candidate in generalelections 2018.
According to reports, Shabbir Ali submitted his nominations from PS-6Kashmore-III on PPP’s ticket as no one submitted nominee paper against himand the deadline given by Pakistan Election Commission is over.
Shabbir is the son of PPP’s leader Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani and had been amember of the National Assembly of Pakistan, from June 2013 to May 2018.
Earlier, the Returning officer cleared nomination papers of the formerpresident Asif Zardari for NA-213 Shaheed Benazirabad-I on Tuesday.
Zardari had submitted papers for only a single constituency for which theconcerned RO has rejected all the objections. The PPP co-chairman isrunning for the electoral race after a span of over two decades.
