ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court has ordered NADRA to complete CNIC issuance for trans-genders within fifteen days.

A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar hearing the suo-moto case regarding trans-genders problems for getting their CNIC cards  at Lahore Registry of Supreme Court today also constituted a committee to submit recommendations regarding this issue.

The Chief Justice also ordered for issuance of passports and driving licenses to trans-genders as early as possible.

Mian Saqib Nisar said trans-genders cases will be heard on daily basis and special courts will be established to protect their rights.
