KABUL – Taliban attacked security forces’ check posts in Kunduz province onMonday night killing at least four security force members, Kunduzprovincial media office said Tuesday.
According to officials the attack happened in Dasht-e-Archi Bazar. At leastseven Taliban fighters were killed and five others were wounded in theclash.
During the clash two ANA soldiers and two local police force members werekilled. In addition two other ANA soldiers and two policemen were wounded,officials said.
The wounded security force members are reportedly in a stable condition.
This was the first clash in Kunduz since the end of the Eid ceasefire onSunday night.
