PM Imran Khan makes yet another offer to Asad Umar

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again offered EnergyMinister’s portfolio to former finance minister Asad Umar today (Friday),sources told.

Meanwhile, the senior PTI leader refused to take charge and left forKarachi from Islamabad.

Sources told that Asad Umer will keep participating in parliament sessionsand key meetings of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Earlier, on the advice of Prime Minister Imran Khan, President Arif Alvihas accepted the resignation tendered by Asad Umer from the office ofFederal Minister for Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs.

A notification has been issued regarding appointment of Dr. Abdul HafeezShaikh as Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue and EconomicAffairs, with the status of Federal Minister.
