Extremely good news for the power consumers as the National Electric PowerRegulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday announced Rs5 per unit cutlink in the electricity prices under the primeminister’s concessionary package, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The consumers will be able to avail this facility from March 2022 till June2022.
The Authority has conveyed its decision to the federal government, whichwill issue a notification in this regard.
However, lifeline consumers will not be able to benefit from theconcession.
