SRINAGAR – Occupied Kashmir University students stage protests againstIndian authorities.
The protesting students were carrying banners which read “Stop harassmentof our leaders, NIA summon to Mirwaiz is not acceptable.”
Raising slogans, the students marched inside the varsity premises toregister their protest.
The protesting students were demanding an impartial probe into thecustodial death of school teacher.

Rizwan Pandit, 28, a resident of Awantipora in south Kashmir died duringthe intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, a police officer said. He wasbeing detained at CARGO camp of Special Operations Group of Jammu andKashmir Police.
A police officer said they have requested for a magisterial probe into thedeath of Pandit.
