SRINAGAR- In Occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC)Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has said that Indian leadership is responsiblefor prevailing political uncertainty and a war-like situation in the SouthAsian region.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, he rejected the Indian Home MinisterRajnath Singh’s rhetoric to cross over the Line of Control in the name ofprotecting territorial integrity, and said that Indian leaders whileignoring historical facts were creating war euphoria in the region.

Addressing a joint meeting of the Executive Council, General Council andWorking Committee of the forum in Srinagar today, the Chairman of Hurriyetforum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq condemned the killing and harassment of peopleby Indian forces under the garb of cordon and search operations in theValley.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, today, Jammu and KashmirSalvation Movement Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt and Jammu Kashmir People’sLeague Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, called for meaningful dialogue betweenall the stakeholders of the Kashmir dispute to stop bloodshed in theoccupied territory.

On the other hand, Indian forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation inPampore and Zinpora areas of Pulwama district, today. The operation wasjointly launched by Indian army, police and Central Reserve Police Force.
