SUKKUR: Police thwarted a major terror bid and arrested five terroristsfrom Sukkur By-Pass on Sunday after receiving information of their presencein the area.

Police conducted operation in Sukkur area and arrested the five terroristsand also recovered recovered detonators, ball-bearings and other materialused in making suicide bombs.

Police told that the arrested terrorists were identified as Hadayat, Jamal,Yar Muhammad, Sher Ali and Nazar and they were planning to carry outterrorist activity in Karachi and were on the way Karachi from Sukkur.
