ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested 14 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered narcotics and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Sub-Inspectors Shera Ahmed and Shafqat Mehmud from Tarnol police arrested Aafaq Sagheer and Dilawar for having 120 gram heroin and 230 gram hashish respectively.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Rasheed from Aabpara police nabbed Akram Masih and recovered 250 gram hashish from him. Kohsar police nabbed two Afghan nationals Mir and Khayal residing illegally in the country.
Sabzi Mandi police arrested four persons for their alleged involvement in dacoity incidents who have been identified as Owais, Ayub Khan, Kafeel and Abdul Rehman.
Bhara Kau police nabbed Samar, Tanveer and Waqas for having one 30 bore pistol each while Raja Ayaz was held in possession of 12 bore gun and 30 bore pistol. Another Afghan national Lal Mehmud was also held for residing illegally in country.
