*LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday launchedinvestigation into ‘benami’ bank accounts of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) leader Saad Rafique.*

The anti-graft body said Saad Rafique transferred billions of rupees from abank account opened in the name of Khalid Hussain.

A NAB report said more than Rs6.20 billion were transferred into KhalidHussain’s bank account by Paragon Housing Society company.

The report said more than Rs6 billion were transferred into Paragon HousingSociety company’s account.

The NAB said more than Rs96.9 million were transferred from accounts ofexecutive builders of the housing project into a bank account in the nameof Shamaa Nadeem.

It said Rs137.4 million were transferred into a woman Razia Perveen’saccount.

The anti-graft watchdog said interrogation had to be carried out from SaadRafique in this matter.
