Two aircraft collided with each other. According to event organizers, the planes collided during the National Championship Air Races and Air Show in Nevada, resulting in the deaths of both pilots.
Two pilots were killed in a crash at the National Championship Air Races in Reno. The Reno Air Racing Association wrote on Facebook that around 2:15 pm, near the conclusion of the T-6 Gold Race, two aircraft collided, confirming that both pilots have died.
The organizers have identified the two pilots as Nick Mason and Chris Rushing. There is no information about any other injuries in the incident. Following the crash, the organizers canceled the remaining races.
