The Muslim League-N has said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, while addressing a grand consultative meeting of Punjab party representatives, stated that if the PML-N hadn't saved the country from default, today petrol would be priced at a thousand rupees per liter.

Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Muslim League-N, addressed the party's appointed representatives from Punjab and stated that those responsible for bringing the country to this state of devastation are the biggest criminals. He said that in 70 years, no one had committed such a crime, and they saved Pakistan from default by investing their political capital.

The cost of saving the country from default has been paid by us. Nawaz Sharif said that we have made this sacrifice sincerely for the sake of Pakistan's well-being, and I believe we will also be successful in the elections. The former Prime Minister mentioned that he had left the matter to Allah before and is leaving it to Him now, and Allah will grant you success in this struggle.
