Pakistan's cricket team has once again become the number one team in the ICC One Day International (ODI) rankings. On Sunday, India defeated defending champions Sri Lanka in a one-sided match in the Asia Cup final, claiming their eighth Asia Cup title.
On the other hand, South Africa defeated Australia in the final ODI of a 5-match series, winning the series 3-2. With South Africa's victory over Australia, Pakistan regained the top position in the ICC ODI rankings.
While India won the Asia Cup, they are in second place in the ODI rankings. Pakistan couldn't secure the Asia Cup title but claimed the top position in the rankings due to decimal points.
In the ICC ODI rankings, Australia's team has moved to the third position with 113 points, while South Africa holds the fourth position
