LAHORE - Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said the government has started a dialogue process with the Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F) in the larger national interest.
Talking to the media at an anti-dengue awareness walk in Lahore, he rejected the presumption that the dialogue process started under duress.
He said JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman is also ready for the dialogue to resolve any differences with the government.
He said protests and sit-ins at this time could cause damage to Kashmir issue and national interests, therefore, the opposition should understand that the country could not afford any damage to Kashmir cause.
