Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar has said the government is working for the supremacy of constitution as Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf strongly believes in rule of law.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that party leadership appreciated him for issuing production orders of the opposition leader Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, allowing him to attend the National Assembly session.
To a question, he said the parliament is a forum for addressing the national issues not a place for raising slogans against each other.
He said the chairman of committee to probe election rigging would be appointed from the government side and that the matter would be resolved by the first week of November.
