ISLAMABAD - Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) is about to introduce paperless culture in the ministry to ensure speedy communication among its attached departments, besides ensuring direct and quick access of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on OP&HRD Syed Zulifqar Bukhari into the affairs of the ministry.
The spokesperson of the ministry told APP Thursday that the department was planning to outsource the project to a private company and the work in this regard was in progress. He said the concerned company had also given a presentation to the PM’s special assistant in recently held meeting.
The ministry would work on this plan in collaboration with National Information Technology Board which had already installed e-governance in many other organizations. It was aimed at establishing a framework to digitize the organizational processes, he added. Moreover, a new comprehensive system was being kicked off to lodge complaints in order to provide quick relief to the overseas Pakistanis by connecting them with the minister.
All the complaints would be monitored by the minister himself after becoming of the new quantifiable complaint system functional, he said.
