The UN Envoy on Yemen Martin Griffiths has said the warring parties has given firm assurances to attend peace talks in Sweden.
He told the Security Council that he is aiming to convene talks before the end of the year.
Griffiths said the parties are about to conclude an agreement on the exchange of prisoners and detainees.
Meanwhile, U.N. food chief David Beasley has described the situation in Yemen as a catastrophe.
