Pakistan cricket team has received approval from the British government to travel to the country despite a travel ban enlisted by the government. Pakistan is one of the few countries on the UK’s red list due to the Covid-19 crisis. ------------------------------
The team will be allowed to travel to the country and will be expected to adhere to the Covid-19 protocols put in place by the British government.
The Men in Green will most likely travel to England in late June via a chartered flight due to the travel restrictions. The touring party will be required to spend a set number of days in quarantine upon their arrival to the country.
Pakistan will face England in a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series, scheduled to begin from 8 July. Here’s the full schedule of the tour: ------------------------------
