Supreme Court has summoned Mayor Islamabad and Chairman NHA on next hearing of a case related to encroachment near Centaurus Mall.
A three-member bench headed by acting Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmad also sought pictorial report of the anti-encroachment operations being carried out in the federal capital and near the highways.
During the hearing Justice Gulzar remarked that roads in the federal capital should not be blocked in any situation. He said measures have to be taken to remove encroachments.
Chairman CDA told the court that Islamabad will be made clear of encroachments soon. He further said that the expresses way is being made signal-free.
Further hearing of the case was adjourned for two weeks.
