PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided construction of five hundred and forty five megawatt hydel power project in district Kohistan to overcome energy shortage in the country.

Sources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization told Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent that a South Korean company has shown interest in the construction of hydel power project.

The project will be completed at a cost of one point two billion dollars within five years. APP/AFP
