THATTA: (APP) Chairperson Petroleum Social Development Committee (CPSDC) District Thatta Shams-un-Nissa Memon has said that Sindh Government was giving special attention for progress of people living in coastal areas of Thatta.
Presiding over a meeting of CPSDC here on Saturday, Shams un Nissa Memon said that the funds being generated from different oil and gas exploration companies would be used for the development of the coastal population of Thatta.
The former provincial minister Saddiqu Ali Memon, MPA Syed Aijaz Ali Shah Shirazi, Deputy Commissioner Thatta Tahir Hussain Sangi and oil and gas companies' representatives, education, health and irrigation and other related department officials were presented at the meeting.
During the meeting, CPSDC approved to issues tenders for the repaire of the walls of rural health centers Baghan and Kati Bunder and directed the officials concerned to take effective measures in this regard so that center could be made operative.
The poor people living near coastal areas could be provided quality medical treatments facilities.
