ISLAMABAD-Commonwealth Nations have vowed to stand together against the challenges posed by the Coronavirus pandemic.
In a joint statement issued by Foreign and Commonwealth Office said that the organisation is committed to protect the health of over 2.4 billion of its citizens by improving access to essential health services.
In the statement fifty-four Commonwealth Heads of Government said that they would work with international partners like G20 and other International Financial Institutions to address the global threat from the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Britain Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab appreciated the commitment of all Commonwealth nations in their contribution towards the global health response during the COVID-19 pandemic.
